BSF personnel have caught a Pakistani drone in Ajnala near Amritsar, Punjab. There is a border between India and Pakistan in Ajnala. According to the information received, BSF jawans heard the sound of drones entering India late at night at BOP Shahpur of Ramdas. Hearing the sound of the drone, the soldiers started firing due to which this drone fell on the ground.

Soldiers fired 17 shots

According to the information, BSF personnel were patrolling the Ramdas border on Thursday night. During this, the soldiers heard the sound of drones entering Indian territory from Pakistan's Deori Forward Post. The soldiers first fired a light bomb in that area and after that the patrolling soldiers fired 17 rounds. During this, the soldiers saw that something was staggering and going backwards. After chasing him, the soldiers found him between the fields and the forest.

During investigation, it was found that one leg of the drone was damaged, due to which it failed to return to Pakistan. This information was given to the top officers of the force. Soon after senior BSF officers reached the spot. The soldiers gathered the drone and its wires and other items.

Frequent drone movements by Pakistan

Pakistan is now sending drug and arms shipments to India via drones. For this reason, drone launch incidents are occurring one after another. According to the data, from January 1, 2022 to September 15, 2022, 171 drone movements were observed on the India-Pakistan border. Drones are being dropped daily in Jammu and Kashmir. In the last 15 days, we've seen this drone move about 15 times.
