01 May, 2023

Punjab Gas Leakage: Around 7 a.m. on Sunday, a sewer manhole on Sua Road in Gyaspura with a cracked lid began to emit poisonous air, which for around 30 minutes caused havoc in a 50-meter radius. Anyone who caught gas during this period kept losing their breath. Please be aware that this manhole was opened approximately 10 meters from the Aarti clinic. The first victims of its hold were five members of the family who were residing in the residence behind the clinic. The gas killed everyone in the house while they were sleeping.

The sight of people falling on the streets in such a sudden manner horrified the public. What was happening was incomprehensible to the populace. A little distance away from the scene, Sanjeev, who works in a dhaba, claimed that as he left, he noticed three persons sleeping outside, two of whom were outside the house with him, absolutely incapable of comprehending what was happening.
