Govt. Bans ALTBalaji, Ullu, Big Shots Among 25 Mobile Apps Over “Obscene” Content Streaming

Ban Apps:  The Central government on Friday banned a total of 25 mobile applications and web platforms over “obscene and pornographic” content. Some of the prominent ban apps include Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji, Ullu, Big Shots, Desiflix, Gulaab, Jalva, and more. 

The platforms have been banned for hosting obscene, adult, and sexually explicit content that is pornographic in nature. 

The content streaming on these apps was found to be in serious violation of Indian laws governing digital content.
