World News: Indian Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar recently met with his Chinese counterpart for a border stand-off discussion. It is the first high-level meeting between India and China after the Modi 3.0 government.
The two met for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit that took place in Astana Kazakhstan, where they discussed “early resolution of remaining issues in border areas” and “agreed to redouble efforts through diplomatic and military channels to that end”, as revealed by an official statement of the Indian Foreign Minister.
