Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Urges Not To Escalate Tension Between The Two Countries

Operation Sindoor:  In the wake of ‘Operation Sindoor’, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has urged a desire to de-escalate tension between the two nations after Pakistani defence minister Khawaja Asif called for a ceasefire by citing their willingness to retreat.

Reports suggest that Dar has talked to 26 heads of state, and all have urged both India and Pakistan not to escalate the current tension.

Dar has also said that no country would give up its water share so easily, hinting at the issues of India potentially revoking the Indus Water Treaty.
