Pakistan Blast News: A suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden truck into a military convoy in Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing at least 13 soldiers and injuring 29 others, including civilians. The explosion also caused the roofs of two houses to collapse, wounding six children, a police official assigned in the district told the AFP.
The suicide bomber wing of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur armed group, a Pakistan Taliban faction, claimed responsibility for the incident. An official stated that the four wounded soldiers are in serious and critical condition. According to an AFP count, around 290 people, mostly security personnel, have been killed in attacks by anti-government armed groups in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan since the beginning of the year.
