Son of Sardaar 2: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has announced the release date of his action comedy sequel, Son of Sardaar, on Instagram. Know more about the film, its release date, first poster look, and cast in this article. 

Son of Sardaar 2 Release Date

Devgn will reprise his role of “Jassi” Jaswinder Singh Randhawa in the film, blending genres of action, comedy, and family drama.  

Announcing the release date of Son of Sardaar 2 on Instagram, Ajay Devgn wrote, “The Return of the Sardaar 🔥 #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July.”

The film is a sequel to the 2012 action-comedy film, marking the first ever Sardaar role of Devgn. 

This time, the Sardaar returns with double the chaos, comedy, tears, and of course, action.

The Instagram post also revealed the first poster look of Son of Sardaar, where Devgn flaunts a yellow turban in a tough black and white look wearing black jeans, a white undershirt, with a waistcoat and leather jacket on top, standing on two military tanks. 

Son of Sardaar 2 is set to release on 25th July, 2025. 

Son of Sardaar 2 Cast 

Spearheaded by Ajay Devgn, Son of Sardaar 2 stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead and love interest of Devgn, reportedly. The stellar cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Kubbra Sait, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, and Vindu Dara Singh.

Helmed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film is backed by Devgn Films and Jio Studios.  Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja are in the producers’ chair. Netflix is the distributor partner of the film.
