Sunjay Kapur 

Indian businessman, billionaire, and the ex-husband of Karisma Kapoor, Sunjay Kapur, died at 53 in Britain. He succumbed to a heart attack while playing a game of golf. The news of his demise sent shockwaves across the business and entertainment world. 

At the time of his death, Kapur had a net worth of $1.1 to $1.18 billion, or about Rs 9200 crore. He left behind an empire worth billions with three kids in line to carry it forward when the time comes. 

Rohan Mirchandani

Co-founder of Epigamia, under Drums Food International — the parent of the healthy snacks brand in 2013the popular yogurt brand, Rohan Mirchandani died due to cardiac arrest in December 2024. 

At 42, Mirchandani’s startup remained the third-largest operator in the F&B segment. Till his death, the company raised $81.2 million through 17 funding rounds, with the largest round securing $25.7 million.

Ratan Tata 

India's most internationally recognised business leader, Ratan Tata, died at 86 in October 2024. His death shook the world of business in India and abroad. Also known as the modest billionaire, Ratan Tata left behind a fortune worth ₹3,800 crore but dedicated it all to charitable causes through the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation and the Ratan Tata Endowment Trust.
