The India Meteorological Department has warned of light rain in the national capital city on the evening of 27th June, accompanied by a cloudy sky and a chance of lightning at night.

Landslides due to heavy rain have disrupted the Char Dham pilgrimage in Uttarakhand, with rescue operations taking place with the help of NDRF and SDRF.

Jammu and Kashmir is also facing the brunt of heavy monsoon rains, with the Mata Vaishno Devi routes being halted due to a landslide.
