Weather Update: The monsoon begins on 29th June in Delhi, bringing a much-needed relief from the heat and humidity. Delayed from the expected date of 26th June, the relief of cool and pleasant weather also brought waterlogged roads and disrupted traffic in the capital city.
According to the India Meteorological Department, monsoon has advanced in almost all parts of the country, covering the remaining parts of Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and all of Delhi.
Heavy rainfall is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Jharkhand, and many parts of Northwest, Central, East, and Northeast India over the next seven days.
