Budget 2024: First-Time Employees to Get One Month’s Salary, Govt Announces Employment Schemes & Benefits

Budget 2024: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first budget of Modi 3.0, benefitting several major sectors, including health, agriculture, employment, and more. For the employment and skill enhancement sector, the FM made big announcements, including a budget allocation of 2 lakh crores for five EPFO schemes.

In this budget, FM Sitharaman stated that those starting jobs for the first time in the organized sector will be given one month's salary, which will be released in three installments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
