US Embassy Warns Against ‘Visa Abuse’ After Indian Student Handcuffing Video Goes Viral

World News:  The US Embassy in India has issued a warning against the abuses of visa and illegal entry into the country, amidst the ongoing outrage over the Indian student getting pinned down and handcuffed in a viral video at the Newark Airport in New Jersey. 

Taking to X, the Embassy penned, “The United States continues to welcome legitimate travelers to our country.  However, there is no right to visit the United States. We cannot and will not tolerate illegal entry, abuse of visas, or the violation of U.S. law.”

The development comes a day after the video of a handcuffed Indian student went viral on the internet.
