World Music Day 2025: World Music Day is celebrated on June 21st, a global celebration that crosses geographical and cultural boundaries, uniting people through the power of melody and rhythm. The goal of the “Fête de la Musique,” which began in France in 1982, was to encourage everyone, from seasoned musicians to enthusiastic beginners, to get out there and perform music anywhere. World Music Day is deeply rooted in the essence of music: a universal language capable of eliciting emotions, forming connections, and inspiring change. It reminds us that music is more than just for the stage or the concert hall; it is a natural component of human existence, present in our daily lives and capable of bringing us enormous joy and comfort.
Indian music is a kaleidoscope of genres and traditions, and it plays an important role in representing recording industry distributors and protecting copyrights, so contributing considerably to the growth and development of music entertainment in the country. The Indian music industry has changed considerably over the years, embracing technological improvements and seeing the rise of new platforms and genres.
